We at BritNote focus on celebrating the best of British culture here in NYC but sometime we like to look at the ‘bigger picture’... And this is one of those occasions. As Brits, we love to celebrate a hopeless cause, the loser, the underdog, and who better to applaud than Gary Oldman, who lost at the Emmy’s in L.A. last month for his portrayal of arch-loser Jackson Lamb in the brilliant Slow Horses.
