The New York residency marks a pivotal moment as the brand embarks on its new chapter. “This exciting venture signifies Antler's initial foray into physical retail and represents a significant step in its journey, seamlessly blending timeless tradition with contemporary flair in the heart of SoHo”. Brin Selling, Forbes
The brand's lifetime product warranty underscores its dedication to craftsmanship, ensuring customers can trust in the longevity and reliability of their purchases. This really is a heritage brand that’s worth a visit.

Burberry
Various stores & concessions across NYC
This is the Spring Street store, Burberry’s larger SoHo store, and is a testament to the very British brand’s commitment to New York, where it has six stores in total. The story of Burberry is one of a British brand with a deep heritage, founded by Thomas Burberry in 1856. Thomas, a former draper's apprentice, opened a small store in Basingstoke, Hampshire, England. His vision was to create functional and stylish clothing using high-quality materials and craftsmanship. He certainly succeeded and Britain’s fashion scene is shaped by this fabulous British brand!
Charles Tyrwhitt
377 Madison Avenue, New York, 10017
Charles Tyrwhitt was founded in 1986 because they thought they “could make a shirt better than anybody else”. Then in 1997, the company opened its first store London store on Jermyn Street. Now the luxury British shirt brand has 4 stores in NYC. Our favourite is the Madison Ave branch where you’ll find beautifully tailored men’s shirts, smart and comfortable loungewear. Whether you’re dressing for the commute, a work trip or weekend away, they’ll help you stay comfy in impeccable British style.
Dr Martens
Open daily 11am - 7pm; Fri & Sat until 8pm, 148 Spring St New York, NY 10012
There are Six Dr Martens stores in NYC but our favourite is the one in Soho. It may not be the largest but it has an eclectic range so there’s something for every taste. The staff are particularly welcoming and very helpful. They may be young and impossibly hip looking but have none of that ultra cool ‘tude. And they will probably help you save a few dollars by pointing out some of the fantastic deals available. Not that’s what I call helpful!
Fred Perry
483 Broome Street, New York, NY 10013. Call +1 646 370 6425
A British brand close to our hearts… Fred Perry was founded in 1952 by Brit tennis champion Fred Perry, who was also a table tennis champion in the 1930s. The brand started with wristbands and polo shirts, and now is SO much more (we love the Amy Winehouse range!) Their iconic laurel wreath logo, stitched into their gear makes it instantly recognisable. Head down to the SoHo store where you can also see original artefacts and images from Fred Perry’s heritage displayed in the store, tracing Fred Perry’s sporting and subcultural heritage.
Hunza G
Available in various concessions across NYC, including Nordstrom, Azaleas on 2nd Ave, Saks and Everything But Water
As a swimmer, I love the concept here “We can’t completely eliminate size trauma from swimwear shopping, but this is a brand that is meant to go on a journey with your body.” Established in 1984 by the designer Peter Meadows, Hunza was known for tight and bright dresses that were a fixture in the 1980s - Julia Roberts wore a blue and white cutout version for her first scenes in Pretty Woman! Almost 30 years later, in 2015, and after a period out of fashion favor, the label was revived under a new co-founder and creative director, Georgiana Huddart. Ms. Huddart began creating swimsuits in a distinctive knitted seersucker fabric that is thick and body-hugging and made on a circular loom for ultimate stretch. This is high end swimwear, with prices ranging between $200 to $300 for women and $90 to $105 for kids, and the swim collections include pieces suited for pregnancy and children’s designs that aim to fit for five years.
Recently, a collection was unveiled for women who want more material in the bust or bottom, and soon to come is a customizable mastectomy offering.

ME + EM
980 Madison Avenue & 111 Mercer Street
You're in fine company here with this British womenswear brand - it counts Margot Robbie and Olivia Colman as fans! The brand's founder, Clare Hornby, describes her approach as "fashion Lego", meaning that pieces should be able to be layered and worn together across seasons.
This brit brand celebrates its' 15th birthday this year and has opened a SoHo store to complement its' Madison Ave store. Clare Hornby, Founder + CEO has a simple concept for her brand: intelligent style for intelligent women, now and forever. There are no compromises to be made here. They call this ‘Intelligent style’ because of the great deal of thought that goes into each and every piece to ensure it is flattering and functional, with wear-forever appeal. This, they refer to as ‘The Three Fs’ and they are the pillars of ME+EM. If a piece doesn’t tick off all three, they don’t make it!
