Amir Dean was born and raised in the Bradford District in the North of England, to a conservative family and despite having a degree in Biomedical Science, Amir always aspired a career in the entertainment world. As the world was grappling with the COVID-19 pandemic, Amir found himself jobless, relying on government assistance and forced to face his ultimate truth; he was bought on this earth solely to make people laugh. A few sarees and lipsticks later, Amir has proved himself to be a versatile artist, offering varied performances in his shows including acting, singing, as well as dancing.
Together with his husband, Amir also hosts a successful podcast called ‘You Don’t Love Me’.

John Oliver and Seth Meyers continue their residency at the Beacon Theatre starting again on 20th October! Since 2014, the British - American comedian currently has hosted ‘Last Week Tonight with John Oliver’ on HBO. Oliver has received widespread critical and popular recognition for the series, including winning 16 Emmy Awards!
Oliver has said that among his British comedic influences are Armando Iannucci, Monty Python and Peter Cook. Edward Helmore wrote in The Guardian newspaper "His style leans toward the kind that Americans like best from the British – exaggerated, full of odd accents and mannerisms, in the vein of Monty Python." Oliver describes his own accent as a mix of Brummie, Scouse and Bedford influences. A proper brit hybrid!

If you don’t know of Troy Hawke then you’re in for a real treat! We love him! Troy’s bemused 1930’s British gentleman greets the modern world with wit, sophistication and insight in a super charming way.
His last tour won Best Show at the UK Leicester Comedy Festival Awards 2022 and was one of the winners of Soho Playhouse International Fringe Encore Series. He has twice been nominated for the Amused Moose Best Edinburgh Show award and was listed as GQ’s Top Ten Comedy Shows at the festival. Unmissable.
